Minnesota fishing tackle company began with a focus on underwater visibility, illumination and new ways to trigger the bite.
FishDaddy was founded in Minnesota in 2017 with a simple idea: develop unconventional fishing tackle that gives anglers more ways to get noticed below the surface.
From the beginning, the company’s product-development work focused on underwater illumination, LED technology, glow and other visibility-driven concepts that could be incorporated into proven fishing presentations.
Rather than replacing traditional ways of fishing, FishDaddy set out to add another element to them — giving anglers additional tools for changing the look, visibility and attraction of a presentation.
Those early ideas became the foundation for FishDaddy’s growing lineup of illuminated and visibility-focused fishing tackle for both ice and open water.
Over the years, FishDaddy expanded beyond its earliest concepts into spoons, jigs, terminal tackle, soft plastics and other fishing products while continuing to develop tackle around the same basic philosophy that started the company.
Today, FishDaddy remains a Minnesota-based fishing tackle company focused on creating different ideas and different presentations for anglers looking for more ways to trigger the bite.
